Windows 11 Insider adds Xbox shortcuts and search filters

The latest Windows 11 Insider builds introduce new features for Xbox mode and search. Xbox shortcuts allow users to control Bluetooth, WiFi, and power settings without exiting gaming mode. These updates are part of a broader revamp of the search experience.

The search interface now includes filters for files, actions, or web results. Users can perform actions such as changing screen brightness or volume directly from the search box. The system also supports actions on connected phones, including making calls. Search results display details like file modification dates and authors. Additionally, results can include charts for stock prices and weather forecasts. Users can train the search function using inline thumbs-up or thumbs-down icons.
