Plymouth, Minnesota's city council voted to terminate its contract with Flock in September. Flock failed to respond to the city's request to cancel the agreement. The cameras in Plymouth remained active for over a month after the cancellation request. Police Chief Eric Fadden physically disconnected the cameras because he received no acknowledgment from Flock. He directed staff to disconnect power cords after hearing nothing for more than week.

In Dayton, Minnesota, Flock acknowledged the request to cancel but stated it would take up to 60 days to remove equipment. Dayton notified Flock on September 18, 2026, that the program was on hold and no work orders were to be completed. Despite a specific request from local police not to do so, Flock reconnected two cameras in Dayton without authorization.

Flock also refused to take down cameras in Elgin Community College after the administration sought to cancel its contract. Flock spokesperson Andrew Smith stated they are working with Plymouth to have cameras removed.
